Endpoint Monitoring 24/7, by Real People

Every Workstation, Watched

Endpoint monitoring means watching every laptop, desktop and server for suspicious processes, logins and behavior, then acting when something is wrong. Endpoint Detectives includes 24/7 endpoint monitoring in managed detection and response (MDR), reviewed by our Security Operations Center (SOC).

What Is Endpoint Monitoring?

Endpoint monitoring is the continuous review of activity on the devices your people use every day, so attacks get caught while they are still small. The endpoint detection and response (EDR) agent records and flags activity. Analysts decide what is real and act on it.

Watching behavior matters because most attacks no longer drop malware. The CrowdStrike 2026 Global Threat Report found 82% of detections in 2025 were malware-free, meaning attackers used stolen logins and built-in tools instead.

What Does Endpoint Monitoring Watch For?

Our endpoint monitoring watches for the signs attackers leave on a machine. Each signal goes to our 24/7 SOC.

Suspicious processes

Programs launching other programs in ways normal work never does.

Unusual logins

Sign-ins at odd hours, from new places or by accounts that rarely log in.

Built-in tool abuse

Scripting and remote tools already on the machine, used the way attackers use them.

Persistence

New services, scheduled tasks or startup entries that let an attacker come back.

Security tampering

Attempts to turn off protection, clear logs or hide activity.

Data staging

Files gathered or compressed in one place before they leave.

Endpoint Monitoring vs EDR: What Is the Difference?

EDR is the tool and endpoint monitoring is the work of watching what it sees. An EDR alert nobody reads at 2 a.m. does not stop anything.

With Endpoint Detectives, both come together: the EDR license on every covered workstation, plus analysts watching it around the clock and remote incident response when a threat is confirmed.

Endpoint Monitoring: FAQ

Is endpoint monitoring included in MDR?

Yes. Endpoint monitoring is one of eight inclusions in Endpoint Detectives MDR at $150 per workstation per year, alongside the EDR license, network and cloud monitoring.

Who watches the alerts?

Our 24/7 SOC analysts review every alert, investigate and respond. You hear from us when something is real.

What happens when you find a real threat?

We contain it remotely, for example by isolating the workstation from the network, then send a plain-language report. Customers get response in as little as 15 minutes.

Is endpoint monitoring the same as antivirus?

No. Antivirus blocks known bad files. Endpoint monitoring watches behavior, which catches attacks that use no malware at all.

Are laptops covered away from the office?

Yes, as long as the device has an internet connection. The EDR agent reports to a cloud platform, so remote and traveling laptops stay watched.

What counts as a workstation?
