CMMC Compliance Support for Government Contractors

CMMC compliance support helps defense contractors meet Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) requirements for protecting federal contract information and controlled unclassified information (CUI). Endpoint Detectives provides 24/7 monitoring, log aggregation and vulnerability scanning that support NIST SP 800-171 controls.

What MDR supports

  • Audit and accountability logging
  • Incident response capability
  • Vulnerability scanning
  • System and information integrity monitoring

Support for controls, not a certification guarantee.

What Is CMMC and When Does It Apply?

CMMC is the Department of Defense program that verifies contractors protect sensitive information, set out in 32 CFR Part 170. The contract rule took effect November 10, 2025, starting Phase 1 of a phased rollout.

Level 2 maps to all 110 security requirements in NIST SP 800-171 Revision 2. See the DoD CMMC program page for the official timeline.

Which NIST SP 800-171 Families Does MDR Support?

Managed detection and response (MDR) supports parts of several requirement families. It does not replace your System Security Plan, your plan of action or an assessment by a certified third-party assessor.

CMMC Compliance Support: FAQ

Can you certify us for CMMC?

No. CMMC Level 2 certification assessments are performed by authorized third-party assessors. We provide monitoring and response that support specific controls.

Do your tools meet our data handling requirements?

Requirements depend on your contracts and where CUI lives. Ask us before you rely on any tool for CUI. Call (866) 804-0645.

Does CMMC apply to subcontractors?

Generally yes, when they handle federal contract information or CUI. Check your contract clauses and the official DoD guidance.

What counts as a workstation?

Ask us through the contact page, or call (866) 804-0645, and a real person will walk you through it.
